Where did this thought of real estate investing first come in?

Oh, I, I mean, if I'm being tr- really honest with you, it's been something I've wanted to do since I was very, very young.

Yeah, as a, as a young kid, I always had a passion for just real estate and construction and just that...

I don't know where I got, I don't know where I got the bug, but I have always wanted to own rental properties and have passive income and, you know, work on properties myself or be involved in the, in the process, and I just, I was always really fascinated with the construction industry and the building of things and that type of stuff, which kind of, you know, ultimately led me down the fire department path just because there's such a correlation with, you know, building construction and, and what, you know, what, what we use.

So yeah, so it started when I was really young, and then when I finally started making, you know, some decent money that I was able to start making it a reality, then I started looking at the possibilities of what, what I could do.

Am I gonna try and invest here and, you know, make my first purchase, uh, like a triplex here in Long Beach and rent out two units and live in one and do that kind of...

Is that gonna be my model, right? Or...

What advice do you have for that person right now? Because so many people are sitting in that mode.
