So the vital force in an animal has, with all its intelligence, has gone, "We're preparing for new life.

Let's put some good energy there.

Um, let's make sure the nutrition's there for it." The new life doesn't come.

"Well, let's not waste that energy and bleed it out, hemorrhage it out." The body reabsorbs it.

And so I'm kind of thinking, well, yeah, like blood vessels, they're not designed to rupture.

They're designed to contain blood, and no hemorrhage is natural, and it obviously isn't gonna confer some sort of evolutionary biolo- biological advantage.

Can you stop the, the bleeding then?
