Take us through the past couple of months for the Sparks and then where you think this team is going to go under new leadership.

You know, it's funny.

When they parted ways with Regan Peebly in July, I think I told you this during a previous show that I was on my way to practice when it happened.

So that was very awkward going to practice, talking to Lynn Roberts about that.

Like, hey, so how was your morning, basically, you know? They were 10 and 11 at that time.

And that felt like a turning point for them because after that, and I'm not sure if that was in their minds or anything, but they went on, they lost six straight after that.

And Kelsey Plum had already played her final game during that 30th season anniversary game.

Are you concerned about the nature of bringing in NBA folks or are you fine with it? Cause I know this has been the general direction of teams over the past several cycles.

It's always at the worst time.

So what happened was that I was on my way to practice on Sunday, which is the 12th.

And then about 10 minutes away from practice, I got the text that saying that Reagan Peebly is out.

I'm like, wait, what? Really? So we get there and we're just like, so interesting morning, Lynn.

How's it going? Speaking of to coach Lynn Roberts.

And she's just like, well, you know, I'm just focusing on the team right now.

It sucks because they're friends before they got together with the Sparks.

We don't need any retractions.

Mm-hmm.

But she also shot a lot of threes too, which what, which is what Lin likes.

And we see now Chicago, Rickea's shooting some threes there as well.

So, um, so I don't think, I don't think there was any, like, bad blood or whatever between those two.

It's just that, you know, um, it's more of an adjustment for Rickea.

And I told Rickea this last year at training camp, she seems to have a new coach every season, dating way back to high school.

So it's always an adjustment for her, you know? And she's the type of player that wants to please, please coaches as well.
