Before we take our seats, let's just read this powerful verse of Scripture, John 8, verse 36.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Lord, I thank you so much, Jesus, that you have set us free.

Well, today as we jump into your word, God, and we start to think about what that really means, God, I pray that you would help us to see ways in which we could embrace this freedom that you won for us on that cross even more.

God, we love you.

We want to live for you.
