Um, how did comics find you?

Well, I come from a very nerdy family.

My father would read the Sunday funnies to me when I was a little girl.

And during that time, he would take me like everywhere with him because it was in the 80s, like right before people were deciding to take their kids to like daycare and stuff.

And so he worked at night.

So he had me in the day and mommy worked in the day.

So, so I was with him.

And I guess my question to you is, how do you navigate the weight of that reality without acquiescing to it?

What was the impetus and how scary was that?

Really, it was...

I knew I could do everything that I was doing for that company, for myself.

This would be human work.

It's still in existence, but they weren't paying me.
