Was that something that you felt you had to kind of try and bring a bit more of, Reg, to this process?
12:05
I did, and that, that is probably something that I kind of changed my tact on, on, for this particular film and my approach to the film.
12:12
Because Shaun, I, I consider Shaun a very close friend of mine.
12:15
Obviously, when he got his first opportunity to, um, do his feature film-I want him to succeed, and so therefore, you know, I, I, I think I felt like I pushed him a little bit harder than what I would, you know, um, in a, in a normal editor/director role, you know? Um, and I did try to bring a lot of objectivity to it and, you know, anytime Sean would give, uh, over a cut or show me a cut, e- deep in my mind, you know, deep in my heart, I'm thinking, "This, this cut's great." But I would, I wouldn't say that.
12:45
[laughs] I would just say, "Try harder," you know? Or, or, or, "Try it, try it this way," or maybe, you know, I would find something wrong with it.
12:51
And not trying to be a dick or anything, but it was just more about I just want it to be the very best it could be.
12:57
Um, [lip smacks] so yeah, my approach was more of a personal approach than, than more of a technical side.

What about you, Reg? Have you been, like, inspired by, you know, Shaun straddling these things to do anything similar in your career, or are you happy to focus solely on editing?
