How long have you been in our area? What do you do, and what drove you to run for office? I know you've run a few times, and you've held a few roles.

Yep, yep.

So I was born and raised in Litchfield, Minnesota, and like I was mentioning, I come from... farming stock although I lived in town we didn't my dad was the first generation to leave the farm his uncle far his brother farmed my uncle until he retired a few years ago moved up here in 1994 to say work live and play and study out at the Concordia language villages they had an immersion college program in the German language and I did that my freshman year of college and Um, was worked in the kitchens out there the summers, uh, before and after that.

So I got to live out at Concordia for 15 months straight and really fell in love with the area.

Um, uh, I would work at the language villages through in the summers.

It was kind of my summer job in college.

I, I ended up studying and graduating, um, with a degree in history from the university of Wisconsin, Madison.
