I guess my question is, are there benefits to this, or are we doing something bad?

Of course there are benefits to it, and the first one that you mentioned, that you did it in service of, uh, serving educational content for children.

Like, we learn best through relationships, um, and, um, there are numerous studies, uh, about the benefits of, of parasocial relationships for modeling and, uh, and promoting good causes.

Um, and, uh, you know, I, I have to confess, I'm too old to, you know, grow up and watching you, uh, and my kids are too young for that.

[laughs] So I, uh, so I'm kind of the lost generation that I didn't have to experience you firsthand, but I know so much about your show because I, I use it in my class as an example.

You know, it, it, it's, uh, you know, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, um, Sesame Street, and all of those, and Dora the Explorer, they are all great examples of, um, very well-created media that was very thoughtful, um, about engaging children.

And in an ideal world, there would be an adult in their room doing that with them or talking to them like that or...

Hmm
