Yeah.

Rebecca HomewoodGUEST
And I think from a therapeutic perspective, from the therapist's perspective, it's not just about hearing what your client's saying, it's really understanding how much effort they're putting into saying it, um, and understanding when they're masking.

Rebecca HomewoodGUEST
And then it's about being able to provide, provide the, the space in order for them to unmask, and that takes a lot of time sometimes in order to get that trust, to be able to feel, as a PDA, that you can actually be genuine in yourself in this space.

Rebecca HomewoodGUEST
So I think for the therapist themselves, um, I think it's about being very explicit in their language.

Rebecca HomewoodGUEST
It's okay not to feel ready to open up about your vulnerabilities at this time.

So Rebecca, what would you say then to a PDA adult who's sitting on the fence about therapy?
