And maybe this is where sometimes people will have this curiosity or question, like what are some emotions siblings commonly experience that their parents may not notice?
7:02
Yeah, so some of the emotions commonly that we experience is, of course, anxious.
7:14
yeah they might be anticipating outbursts or meltdowns by their siblings so their nervous system is always on the edge yeah so and of course anxiety also stem from another common thing which is they need to the other child is already quite difficult for my parents so as part of the family you need You know, siblings being the very kind child cultivated by you parents, actually, there will be excessive anxiety stemmed from they want to be a good child, excessively perfect or excessively compliant.
7:54
yeah it's not just compliant but excessively compliant but that itself pulls stress to their nervous system and uh something that maybe we don't usually talk about it is a lot of grief and loss Yeah, because when, even though we might not all parents prepare the children verbally that, oh, you're going to have a siblings, you know, where they see their mom pregnant, whether they welcome or not welcome the siblings ready or not, they will have that process and have certain expectation built out.
8:28
Oh, I want to do this with my brother and sister.
8:31
Yeah.

And then, but when they are born, if let's say they are neurodivergent, then the needs will be very high.
