How important, you know, you've heard things from other people, like how important has this been for the city of Norman and the local athletes here now over the past couple of years?

Well, just think about it.

You know, I never would want to take any credit away from what any other coaches or parents have done, but just being able to walk in there, you know, two days ago, and I saw the, you know, the sign on the big screen showing the Norman High School State Championship, you know, I had a little smile whenever I saw that because that just brings a lot of notoriety to Norman, and this facility doesn't happen without the city of Norman, and You know, for us, and when I say us, it's my wife and I and our four kids.

That was the goal, just to have this type of opportunity to where kids didn't have to travel as much.

We could have big-time tournaments in Norman and also save a little money not having to go to Dallas and Houston and Wichita and Kansas City.
