How do you become a college baseball coach? How does that come to pass as your career?
3:39
You know, I – I wasn't sure.
3:41
Like a lot of young people, when you're in high school and then you get a chance to play in college, I was one of those guys that thought maybe I could make a living playing the game.
3:51
I did.
3:52
I started as a freshman at North Carolina State for the late Sam Esposito, who was a big leaguer for 10 years.
3:59
And I thought that it was my path.
4:02
I loved the game.

39:59

16:32
think that exists anymore? Very
16:33
rarely.
16:34
Really? Maybe you get a two-sport athlete from time to time.
16:37
But in the old days, you play all three sports.
16:39
You know, when I was coming through, my dad was like, hey, you're – I know football is over, but you're playing basketball.
16:45
Well, Dad, I'm 5'7".
16:48
I'm not real good at basketball.
19:10
How has that role changed in today's college baseball based on what you've seen?
