There are times I can understand that, but I am a glass-half-full person.

Um, there will always be room for improvement in this city, but I choose to to- focus on the positives while trying to change some of those negative things about our city.

But I don't, I don't wake up in the morning and think about all that Houston isn't.

Appreciate it.

You know, as, as managing editor of The Defender, one of the things that I love is the, the diversity of being able to tell stories of Houstonians who rarely make headlines.

We have so many people doing great things, and I love that, that as a Houstonian, uh, that I ha- I feel a responsibility to share those stories.
