... what, you know, what's your perspective on all that?

Well, a lot of this stuff is our, our self-inflicted wounds to be sure.

We can't blame the entire deficit, you know, on that, because most agencies are going through some kind of issue right now because expenses have been outpacing, uh, revenues, and a lot of that, uh...

But in, in our own little city, uh, we had that debacle a couple of y- a couple of cycles ago, or a cycle or so ago, where you saw a 4-3 vote on a budget, which has never happened in anybody's memory.

I don't know of any agency that's done that.

I don't think you've ever seen a mayor vote against his own budget.

But that happened when, uh, Kristen and company took the, you know, up to $4 million between the, the Jack Randa Court project, which is, uh, a housing authority project, and then Undocufund, which is another half a million dollars.

Uh, uh, what, what's your reaction to that comment? What do you think about that in terms of the council?
