Randy, actually you've been on a number of, uh, things that we've done in the past, but, uh, reintroduce yourself.

I am a retired Army trauma nurse, and within my military career, I had the opportunity to deploy three times, and blood had a level of involvement in each one of them, but in a very different way.

In 2005 to 2006, I had the opportunity to participate in walking blood banks, so we'd run out of products on the shelves, uh, take it out of our arms and put it right into the patients.

Up to 2016, '17, my last deployment, I had oversight of Iraq, Syria, Turkey and Jordan, and I realized when I had to implement pre-hospital blood there, what worked in one country didn't work in the other.
3:12
What worked in Northern Iraq didn't work in Southern Iraq.
3:15
Why is this important? Because I really had to think about blood implementation at a systems level, that one size was not going to fit all.

I mean, how are you finding the time to do that even?
