I s- I, I was thinking when, when, uh, John originally asked for a poem of mine that, uh, that I'd written in the '70s and, uh, that he had published.

And, um, and I thought, "That's fine," 'cause I don't really have a lot of poems that I think, uh, really do what you just suggested, that, uh, you know, sort of focus on nature so much.

But then I- it occurred to me that I did have one that was sort of in the, in the realm that he was talking about.

And so I'd, I said, uh, "Do you know this one?" And he, John found it and looked at it and accepted it.
