How did that work? What happened during that time?
6:23
Yeah, so I really didn't have much time to decide, honestly.

It was about a week left for my visa and it wasn't going to be extended because in the USA, so once you attend university there, you get a guaranteed one year or three year work visa, depending on which country.

a degree that you've chosen so for mine it was just one year but they could extend it for another year now trump we were through under the trump administration and he was quite strict on uh extending visas for foreigners and so once my visa expired it was either go back home to bermuda or just book a one-way flight to london and london was always a dream of mine to live and work there because i did the internship that i mentioned before just for two or three weeks And so I packed up my flat in Atlanta, took a one-way flight, got to London, got another flat and started applying on LinkedIn.

It took me about a month to land a job, which was quite quick.
7:24
But there were multiple rejections prior to that final acceptance and getting that job.
7:29
It was tough, but I knew I had to make it work.
