I just wanna get started how we always do, and just you kinda talk about how you got into music and, like, what was your introduction before hardcore.

Uh, good question because, you know, I'm a lot older than you.

But, um, you know, back in the '80s, e- everything was corporate rock, and I was just, like, turned off by it.

My brothers and sisters were into it.

I know I loved music 'cause I played the violin, I played the trumpet.

I was, like, sort of very musical, but I couldn't lock into rock and roll and the outfits and the hair and the sp- the, the, the, the, the clothing, the, the rock arena, and it just didn't turn me on.

I couldn't figure out why, and I really wanted to fit in.

Bands like us that sucked, and then these like very high level bands, and one of 'em was CIA, and if you've ever heard the first CIA single, it is one of the best records, hardcore records out.
