4:24
What do you mean by that?
4:26
So I think that's a great example of the fact that now, whenever you're trying to solve any problem in business, you do have an entirely new tool you can be using.
4:36
Right.
4:37
Because it's not that call centers are new.
4:39
It's not that customer support is new.
4:41
But the pace at which you could roll out really high quality operations is.
4:46
in that part of the business that's what's new right think about it uh ai doesn't have any sort of like onboarding period you can just scale it infinitely so if you're hiring you don't have to wait for uh people to be onboarded and trained and all that stuff if you want to change the way that you're doing something change the operations you don't have to figure out a whole rollout and retraining plan right you just change the instructions ai is following And so that capability of being able to take your operations, your systems and process, and do that across every part of the business, that's really what AI can do for every business.

26:41
Okay.
63:32
... and how they should actually go about filling out this template?
63:36
Yeah.
63:36
So we call this a playbook outline.
63:39
So the way to think about it is like, don't jump in like you're writing a book and you're just gonna start typing and you're just gonna go and write the whole thing in one go.
63:47
Think about it like you're gonna outline your work, 'cause that helps you think through it before you get stuck in the weeds.
63:53
Um, but any type of work that you want AI to do, you just need to come up with these four pieces.
63:58
First is the trigger or what starts the playbook.

17 MINS LATER

80:52
Mm.
17:58
So Rachel, having said all of those things, would you be able to share what it actually looks like? Do you have a kind of demo or something that we can share with the audience so they know what it looks like in practice?
18:09
Yeah, I have one that I pulled up.
18:13
So if I were to zoom out for a second.
18:18
So what we do is we take processes and we turn them into AI playbooks that AI will run.
18:26
What that looks like is usually we're writing that process out first in a Google document or just completely outside of the tool we're using.
18:33
And the reason is that gives us more space to actually think about, like you're saying, how we want to break up the work into the smaller tasks.
18:40
Then once we create that process, and I'll show you the structure in a second, then we have this philosophy we call own the playbook, rent the tech.

8 MINS LATER

26:41
But Claude does
9:09
Can you give us an example, either with a real client or, you know, you can- you don't have to say the real name, but how AI has transformed the day-to-day work of marketers? And then, Chris, I'd love to hear also from you as well, just so people can understand, at a practical level, how in the world this stuff can really benefit us.
9:26
Yeah, I mean, I actually love the very clear analog of if you are working off a template today, then a machine can do it tomorrow, because that's what we're seeing across the board with our clients.
9:36
And when you realize that and lean into it, you can unlock a lot of advantages.
9:40
One of my favorite stories that comes to mind is we were working with an influencer marketing agency who, oh, my gosh, I still to this day have not met a business that had so many documents and templates and SOPs, or standard operating procedures, already written down.
9:54
But it was because they worked on pretty high-profile influencer matching projects for big brands that had a lot of expectations, and they had to have already gotten really detailed so that their team could run that service consistently.
10:07
So going in pre-AI, they already had all this, but that process, whenever they're running it by hand, would take, average two to three weeks for them to, like, put out an opportunity that a brand wants to work on.
10:18
They would get, like, thousands of applicants.

Where do you see everything going? What's gonna be kind of the, the buzz? What's your take on that?
