the car on Saturday, he called it undriveable.
23:03
Yeah.
23:04
And on Sunday, he said, how the hell we got second today is unbelievable.
23:08
Yeah.
23:10
not to mention the book, but in the book, I explain how Max gets more out of a car than he should.
23:14
So on paper, he performs better than the car.

LAUGHTER
74:03
No.
74:03
Those pictures are from Formula One on what's called the world feed or the, or the world...
74:08
It's the WIF.
74:09
I never know what the I stood for, but it's the world feed.
74:11
Um, and that's what everybody gets around the world to watch the race on.
74:14
And then your programming is either side of that.
74:16
So that's the same for qualifying as well, although sometimes in qualifying you can come back to your pundits between sessions if you want.

7 MINS LATER

81:33
Really?
12:55
When did you realize that was something that you wanted to do?
12:59
I never wanted to be a presenter.
13:00
I never wanted to be a presenter.
13:01
So when I was little, I wanted to be a radio presenter, and I used to listen to this guy on a station called Radio Mercury, and his name was Timbo Lloyd.
13:10
I can still sing you the jingle now.
13:11
T for terrific, I for incredible, M for magnificent, B for brilliant, O-O-O, Timbo.
13:15
Anyway, I listened to that when I was tiny, and I thought, "I wanna be a radio presenter." And so I did that, and then up until 2005, I was on a radio station in Southampton.

... "to do this or be there, and I'm in the paddock doing this." How much of, like, the pieces that you do, you know, like when you said, like, Ted going skiing with, with Lance, how much of that is, is your ideas coming to life, and, like, how do you make that happen?
2:58
But Mercedes, what, still the team to beat? How did you find Mercedes so far?
3:02
Um, yes, I think they definitely still think they've got the edge.
3:05
The other teams think, seem to think they've got the edge.
3:07
I spent a day yesterday with Zach, Andrea, Lando, and Oscar, and they all still think that they are not there yet with Mercedes.
3:13
They'll, might close the gap a little bit this weekend, and we'll come on to that, I'm sure.
3:16
But as far as Mercedes go, I don't think there's anyone in this paddock who doesn't think they still have the edge right now.
6:59
Well, we don't know how good it is yet
7:00
...
3:16
But yeah, what's what struck you as the big story so far today, Rach?
3:21
I mean, the gap is big between the top two and the rest of the rest of the field right now.
3:25
That is a big gap back to McLaren.
3:27
You're looking at 50 points back to McLaren in third, which is huge.
3:30
And we've only had two races.
3:32
So that strikes you that the rest of the field have got a lot of work to do.
3:35
You're right.
5:11
Is he convincing anybody?
10:53
If the Mercedes is the best, and clearly the best, Kimi's got so much natural talent, but George is rapid... himself and has got all the experience
11:02
i'd love to be inside george's head at the moment when he looks ahead to this season because it does look to everybody you know we've discussed this they do have the strongest car they do have the fastest car we know kimmy is quick if kimmy can get on top of it not make mistakes george could be pushed all the way by his teammate here and it'll be fascinating to see how it plays out and how he handles it as well because he was kind of probably felt like number two to lewis he's now number one in this team in a lot of people's eyes is he the one who's going to come through or is kimmy going to really give him some trouble this year

11 MINS LATER

22:18
How can this happen? And how long will it take to fix? I mean, Honda...
22:25
It's really hard because they have this history in motorsport with engines.
22:30
This is not a great thing.
22:33
We saw at the start of the McLaren era as well, there were complaints about the engine.
22:36
They managed to get that to a better place.
22:38
This is not how they wanted to come back into the sport.
