So when building a hosting platform specifically for PHP developers, what did you decide to do differently from day one, basically?
4:39
Well, I think the PHP stack or rather the LAMP stack is quite quite unique in terms of the productivity value that it offers developers today.
4:50
Not getting off topic for a second, but a lot of the other stacks out there have an enormous amount of complexity and an enormous amount of options, which means that they're not that transferable, not that easy to migrate between providers, et cetera, et cetera.

So what we've really tried to stay true to is that sort of LAMP stack with WebSlice that you can bring your own application unmodified, have it scale up or down, and in the serverless instance, scale to zero without actually needing to change too much or in fact, in most cases, anything around your application to get it to work, which is a completely different approach to what a lot of the cloud providers out there today will ask you to do in order to scale your website.
5:50
That's the key differentiator.
5:53
We want the platform to solve a lot of the problems rather than asking the developer to take on board all the complexities of the platform.
