What would you like to share about, you know, just the vibe or like what people are saying in those meetings?

Priscila RuedasGUEST
yeah so in those meetings and just in terms of data centers we what we're really hoping to accomplish and what we really the conversation has been is that there is decisions that affect everybody that are taking place so particularly with data centers there's a huge environmental health concerns talking about all the environment soil water the air how that has pollutants, how that increases cancers, asthma, the noise, the noise that it increases, just mental health disorders.

Priscila RuedasGUEST
And so the issue here and what we were hoping to do is to be more on the table when decisions that affect everybody like that come in.

Priscila RuedasGUEST
This isn't just a regular another coffee shop that's coming to town that the mayor can write off and not just everybody excuse me city council can just write off and approve this is something that's going to have long-term consequential impacts and particularly for a place like yuma where we are an ag town where we have what was it 5.2 billion dollars in direct cash receipts in 2025 from agriculture how are we going to be able to work through just having something that will have such a high impact on the environment.

Priscila RuedasGUEST
So the asks that are happening from the data centers are just, we would like to be aware of these decisions that are taking place and we want our voice to be heard.

Johnny PorterHOST
Are there any other issues that, you know, resonate with you or that you feel like I want to do something about that if elected?
