Primetime

I didn't know what a drop tank was.

That's the voice of James' mom, Andrea, from an interview she did on ABC Primetime in 2004, almost four years after James first started to have his memories.

We could not reach the Leiningers for an interview, so we're going to rely on some of these archival news interviews to help tell their story.

But it's important to know that Carol and the family were deep in this mystery for years before it went public.

In the child's testimony, uh, she got to Perry concerning the holes, uh, the dots that she drew in the roof corroborate with, uh, what a lot of other people that were in there said, including Catherine Madison and Dick DeGuerin.

Dick DeGuerin was interviewed by Diane Sawyer on ABC Primetime, and he stated in this interview that he clearly saw in his, uh, the ceiling, uh, as it appeared, looked, quote, unquote, "like Swiss cheese" because it had holes all in it from bullets fired through the roof.

The only way, obviously, these bullet holes could be in the ceiling, uh, from, through the roof is from helicopter fire.

So I talked to David Jones's, uh, little six-year-old daughter, and I asked her, "What did you do on February twenty-eighth? What happened?" And she said that bullets started coming through the roof, and she ran and hid under her bed, and her brother, who was a couple years older than her, ran down the hall into the stairwell.
