There's nothing.
9:39
There's nothing.
9:40
I mean, you know, before I had my personal growth journey, I used to ask myself questions like, what happens outside? It's not in our control.
9:48
I can't make someone do something for me or suddenly having a lottery or something.
9:53
but what I think is in my control.
9:57
Now, if I was to do a business, whether it becomes successful or failure, the probability is 50, 50.
10:04
Why am I more focusing on the failure? Why do I want to safeguard everything before I even start to take steps for my startup business? And then I realized that, okay, if I have to think myself, what outcome I want, I would focus on the success.

So is that what your method is about? Is that the process that you're speaking of and can you dive into it?

So tell me a little about the chaos that you have experienced and that I know forms part of the story that inspires your book.
0:44
Absolutely.
0:45
I think the Tuberculosis was, I think, the last moment of chaos.
0:50
Like that was a cherry on top on the chaos.
0:55
So just six months before the diagnosis of tuberculosis took place, I do remember I was really, really insecure at job because of the way things were going.
1:09
And the personal life was also affected heavily because of that.
1:13
And between these two, I just couldn't juggle.

Tell us a little bit more about the work you're currently doing.
29:37
Is the workplace itself creating our stress or is there something else going on? Because you have these fancy corporations and say, let's say London, for example, they've got very stylish offices and you'd think people would enjoy working there and let's let's be honest a lot of people do but at the same time people hate it and then there's environments that aren't so glamorous so factories or offices that are run down and people love those jobs so what's going on going on there like what's your take on it is the workplace itself creating our stress or is there something else going on there which you can elaborate on a bit further
30:20
i think The workplaces are workplaces, right? And how we brought up taking that, why are we actually there? So if you understood your job description and if you knew that you could deliver that, and if you believe that you are the best at delivering that, yes, there is always improvement.
30:41
There is always, you know, we get new experiences and we get better at what we do.
30:46
But when we compare ourselves with others and when we because we learned, you know, like growing up, we feel like, oh, someone lost a job or someone got fired because they did this, this, this.
31:01
Or we may not have had, you know, complete information as a child or while we were growing up.
31:08
But we somehow learned these things that you have to be disciplined at work.
31:12
You have to get the targets ticked.

So when I read your email, I thought that was very fascinating and I want to know more about how you got to that place as far as perception is concerned.
0:57
Sure.
0:58
Thank you.
0:58
Thank you.
1:00
See, I was born in India.
1:02
At the age of 18, I moved to UK to do further studies.
1:06
And while I was studying, so, you know, I grew up in India, very different culture.
