So Cameroon launched its 2026 licensing round during the Farm Out Forum event In Cape Town, it was officially launched by national oil company SNH.

The round itself offers six onshore exploration blocks across three different basins.

So in the Rio del Rey basin, there is the Endian and Bacasi blocks.

In the Douala Basin, there is Combe and Sepe and Bomono block.

And in Northern Cameroon, S&H is offering Zena and Macri blocks, two blocks which border Nigeria and Chad.

Do we know much about how that acreage has performed in the past, or is it relatively unexplored?
