Do you think that's a problem, and have you seen that in any other cases?

Yes and no. He's put 100% confidence in the people who work in the crime lab, the forensic technicians, the analysts, everybody, uh, who goes out to the scene to collect and process the evidence.

He was convinced that they did their job to the full extent.

Having said that, there are times when you need to leave a scene like this sealed.

Do not just open it up, unseal it, because for all we know, very valuable trace evidence could've been overlooked.

Uh, biological evidence, footprints, uh, shoe prints, maybe even fingerprints that were left behind on some type of surva- uh, surface.

Uh, various types of, uh, uh, biometrics that could've been available.

Do you think as a defense attorney you can kick out everything after search one and say it's corrupted?

But getting there is really hard to make.

And it's competitive is the problem because all the associate attorneys all aspire to partnership.

And the partner track is very, very difficult to achieve.

First of all, you are required usually, not always, to bill a minimum of 1,900 or 2,000 working hours per year.

And when you do the math, sometimes it could come out to between 45 and 50 hours a week just to keep your job competitive.

And if you want to make a little more, you have to build above and beyond that.

And certainly, if you want to get on the partner track, you're going to have to build maybe one and a half times that amount.

What's your argument if you take this to trial? What do you do? What, claim it was just a big accident?
