So the best advice that I give to organizations that I've seen grow successfully with this and grow successful wallet adoption programs is communication is key and it has to start weeks before deploying a mobile badge system.

What does that look like? It looks like in the initial phases, six or eight weeks out, building awareness.

conversation because we have been doing it this way for many years now we're changing the way we're doing things and part of a good change management structure is explaining why explaining what the benefits are to the individuals that you're asking to change when they understand oh you're not trying to track me oh you're putting this badge on my phone to track me no that's not it what it's really about is you know, the benefit to never having to forget your badge ever again, the benefit to being able to remotely deactivate your badge, the benefit to our organization to streamline lifecycle management of the credential.

So anyways, kind of in your experience with this, what causes the most damage in practice? So is it unmanaged devices or is it a weak account recovery that happens? Is it phishing and social engineering?

I think if we're talking about mobile access in particular, the biggest gap, I would say, is in the provisioning of the credential.
P

Once the credential lands on the person's phone, it's actually quite safe and quite secure, whether that's in the app.

For us, it's a CIOS credential, so it's leveraging the same credential standards that HID considers to be best practice.
