Walk us through this journey and how did the trust get built?

Yeah, as you said, it takes a long time to build evidence.

As we discussed about the importance of evidence-based programming, Habitat in Cambodia has operated more than 20 years.

We have been working around social housing over the past year, and there are evidence of importance to work around social housing.

So Habitat in Cambodia is able to demonstrate the evidence of our project on the ground, be able to show to the government the importance of having a social housing modality to scale up in the country.

So the government realized the importance of best practice, and that includes into the policy, which social housing was not in the policy before.

because of this good work that our team in Habitat Cambodia and our partner at the sub-national government have been doing that really inspired the national government to adapt into a social and affordable housing policy and with that policy adopted by our prime minister the ministry of economy and finance and the ministry of land management upon planning and construction with habitat and other partner we initiate to pilot a project of social housing in two province as you said in siam and that aim to mobilize the the public private and using the people center partnership approach to to co-create to design the project that really make it meaningful for the home partner that will be benefit from the social housing that we will be deliver in the future.
