If our entire purpose in life is to grow closer to the Lord, okay? If that, if that is our primary vocation, and that is, by the way, that is objectively our primary vocation, then every other thing we do in life is all gonna be ordered towards that, growing closer to the Lord.

So imagine a universe in which God doesn't really care very much whether you get married or join religious life.

Imagine that all he cares about is that he gets to spend time with you and that you grow closer to him.

So you're discerning your vocation, and he does.
