Where would you recommend if they're not having meetings, proper business meetings and I know that our embed and connect framework went all the way from the top all the way to the bottom it's longer than this podcast is but where would you recommend people start when getting that cadence of meetings just to keep it super simple because it's got to be simple to start with hasn't it

yeah absolutely one of the things that we always used to do was we would check in with everyone and go do you understand actually what your job role is and what you should be doing Do you have all the tools that you need and have the skills and the knowledge that you need to be able to do those functions and do that job properly? And it's quite a simple question, but it's amazing sometimes people say, yeah, I'm supposed to be doing this.

And you go, oh, no, no, that's actually not what you're supposed to be doing.

So either we haven't communicated it well to you, that is your job, or they totally misunderstood it.

So having that conversation, just making sure they really clearly understand their role, their responsibility, the tasks they should be completing and And also where they fit and who else is responsible for the other things that sit around them.

So really simple question.

Do you understand your job role? Tell me what you think it is.

Over the 16 years, what have been some highlights about being here at the museum?

If you saw the museum in 2010, you wouldn't recognise it to today.

Most of the museum has been completely redecorated, refurbished.

There's a few areas still.

And obviously equipment's moved around.

We try and educate people.

Education is a very important part of this museum, which is interesting.

Do you have any?

Mike Brave, one of Taser's lawyers.

And we said to Mike Brave, "I tell you what, we're gonna make you an offer.

You resolve the, the few cases at that point that we had, and we'll sit down with you, and we'll rewrite your warnings for you.

And if we do that, you're gonna insulate yourself from all future cases.

And, you know, you'll settle the cases that we have with us, and we'll be done, and we'll move on in our lives to other things." And he said, "Wow, that's really interesting." I don't know how long it was after that, uh, probably maybe a month or so after, and we got an email from Mike Brave.

And the email just said, [chuckles] it just contained three initials, NFW.

That was their response.

As Peter Williamson explained to me, writing the warning in 2009 deflected the liability of the Taser from the company that made them to the cops who used them.

And we said to Mike Brave, "I'll tell you what.
