Thank you, and welcome to "Global Student Voices." What are they, as, as a counselor, somebody who's seen this with 400 families, what are they putting too much weight in, and what are they under-weighing? What are they not putting enough value in?

Too much weight on what other people think still, and not, not enough weight on their child, children.

I mean, I think that's the simplest way I can put this, and in majority of the cases is what I see.

It's to do-- also to do with subjects as well, because a lot of the subjects have this, some sort of pedestal of looking amazing for other people.

You know, like in Korea, you either become a doctor or a lawyer or engineer.

You don't have any other choice.

If you, if you say you want to become an artist, which is exactly my case, actually.

So describe to me the difference in terms of your interaction with the students and maybe, uh, the student's story of their success or movement.

What do you see as kind of among the missing pieces? What are families missing that are kind of leading to struggles?

Yeah, I mean, just from my experience is I mean, I would say experiences are such an important factor of what we do, because without this, I mean, I would I would I would have believed that just teaching a certain topic.

I would say that I was a good teacher because students understand and they say thank you all that at the end.

But then experiences are really invaluable because.

Coming back to your point, I wouldn't have thought that that missing piece was just information.

From the 10 years that I've taught and talked to different parents, et cetera, around the world, is that they would come to me and say, well, this is what I know.

But then I would say, well, where did you get the information from? It's either they've Googled.

Can you talk just a little bit about what you've observed just in terms of what's the effect this is happening having on students
