What's day one look like for you?

Well, day one starts the ball rolling and hitting the ground running.

And one of the things, Dave, I'd really like to start to implement is the New York 19th is such a vast agricultural district, right? And our farmers are just getting slammed at every turn between utility costs, fuel costs, fertilizer costs.

So one of the things I'm kind of formulating is a former CEO of a company putting a plan in place.

And that plan is called GAAP pricing, Guaranteed Alternative Pricing.

And what it basically says is this, in the case of a dairy farmer looking at what his current wholesale costs for milk would be, it could be anywhere right now between $18 and $19 per hundredweight, that we would then adjust those

What do you want folks to know when they head to the polls?

Well, for the Albany listeners, I mean, let's be honest.

What to you is the biggest issue facing folks

here in Cortland County? Well, I think it really comes down to three things, John.

It really comes down to affordability, affordability, and affordability.

When you really look at the ruleness of New York 19, I know myself, I have to travel 18 miles one way just to get groceries.

So you start adding in the price of fuel, gas, diesel, so on, the price of groceries, and then just the affordability for young to get homes.

It really is a huge, a huge issue.

And it's one that really, I think, takes somebody that lives in the district, and is rooted in the district with common ground, so to speak, to really understand that impact.

How about the fact that your opposition seems to be totally running against the president?
