Can you give us some of the names of horses that have been bred and raised at Rathmore, both flat and jumping for
8:03
us? Yeah, so when he retired, basically, he sort of, you know, fiddled away with his couple of, he had maybe three brood mares and he'd buy a couple of national hunt foals a year and then farmed.
8:19
And he hunted three days a week.
8:22
And enjoyed life.
8:24
So when I came home and took over, it was basically just a farm with horses.
8:29
And I decided I, you know, you know, would like to sort of, you know, turn it into a proper stud farm and a proper business.
8:38
So, yeah, you know, we've been very, very lucky over the years.

The county of Limerick is fairly unique in itself, isn't it? Tell us about the breeders and the other horses that have been raised and bred in Limerick because it's punching way above its weight, isn't it? I mean, it really is quite phenomenal.

Tell me about the two-year-olds you have for sale and why you brought them here.
48:31
Okay.
48:32
Well, we've got three nice two-year-olds ourselves, and Rathmore, there's over 30 two-year-olds all together on the sale.
48:38
Um, some beautifully bred horses.
48:41
Uh, we've a nice, uh, uh, half-brother to Impervious, actually, who's an absolute cracker.
48:46
Good Irish bred ourselves.
48:49
Um, so we brought them here really to support this whole scheme.

And what preparation would you have given to a two-year-old compared to a three-year-old coming to a sale at the same time?
