I mean, we know that social media algorithms are designed to attune to your emotions, right? If something makes you angry, it's more likely it'll get promoted into your feed and into other people's feeds.

And that means that when you have a narrative like Britain is broken, it's collapsing, it can take on a life of its own and become quite self-sustaining and feed back into a global ecosystem, so people in other English-speaking countries will pick this up, and it will be promoted by the algorithms.
