And that seems to be jiving more with the way you view how the Old Testament was written.

Very much so.

It's Richard Elliott Friedman, who wrote The Bible, where he, he focuses on Torah, but it's th- that's, the principle is the same throughout.

See, I, I really try to impress upon my students, for example, that it's not just that the Bible was written at different times.

It was written under very different circumstances.

And, and it's those circumstances and those experiences of people that drive them to think differently about this God that's a part of their tradition.

Right.

So Peter, how about you walk us through what we're looking at in this graph?

Great.

So what we have is we're looking at on the X axis, so horizontally, the preferences of the lowest income group.

And so as it goes to the right, there's more support among the low income group.

And on the left, there's less support.

And then the vertical axis, the Y axis, is the probability of this policy change happening.

And so this is plotting... policy responsiveness to the preferences of the low-income group.
