So I guess let's start with, is school going to look different when these cuts take place and the kids go back in September?
P

If you look at the CBC article, I believe the minister quotes 69 teaching positions that will be changed.
P

But there's also about a dozen who retired, and those positions are just cut due to attrition.
P
25:39Peter DayGUEST
But what's happening is these positions, whether it's mathematics coaches, early literacy coaches or literacy coaches or mentors or specialists, all of these positions are they work with students each and every day.
P
25:54Peter DayGUEST
There are student-facing positions, and what that means is that there is going to be over 80 less teachers teaching in the public education system and supplying those supports for our students and those resources for our students, and particularly even some of the programs, like it's mentioned there, the Discovering Opportunities program.
P

That's that's a classroom position where students, you know, go in and direct student facing.

So can you talk a little bit about what a, what competitive moats could look like in this new era?
P
9:22Peter DayGUEST
I think, y- you know, there was winner takes most in most of those cases because there was more value, you know, with adoption.
P
9:28Peter DayGUEST
I think exactly the same is gonna be true in this next generation of, uh, of technology.
P
9:32Peter DayGUEST
I think these systems are gonna learn to an individual level what you like and, you know, I-- my expectation is if there's a, if there's a assistant product that gets launched for, for Tom, um, you're gonna love that.
P
9:48Peter DayGUEST
You will love that assistant so much because it'll have learned the fact that, you know, Tom doesn't like to eat steak on a Thursday, and when he's flying into town, he prefers to y- y- you know, get a car pre-booked, and he'd rather stay in this hotel in New York.
