Well, let me just tell you the story on St. Olaf's.

And that was the name of the ice chapel that you saw on Instagram and other social media platforms.

And so there were two students, and I received an email from them on a Thursday night.

And the title of the email was, all caps, crazy idea, colon, an outdoor mass.

Now, you have to remember, right? In the Midwest, it was freezing cold.

So this is late January, tipping into early February.

An incredible amount of energy in this next generation.

And what I love about it is it's rooted on this desire to help people belong and contribute and it's all about creating the space for them to be loved by jesus and then in turn make some love others and it's just almost like the ripping away of all the things that our generations helped to create in this world and the young people are saying okay been there done that i see how miserable you guys are let's get back to the basics of what makes us human yes and it's just amazing to hear validation that like what you're seeing on campus is the same thing we're seeing here and it's like that's the message i think for people is there's such an incredible amount of hope an incredible amount of energy in this next generation.
