[laughs]

Um, it, it's, it's actually a funny story.

Um, I was general manager for another business and, you know, while the owner was involved, he was, he was good owner, good company.

Um, we sat down for lunch one day and when he initially hired me, he asked me, you know, like, "So what's your future look like?" and all this, and I was honest with him.

I said, "You know, one day I will own my own business." And you know, he chuckled that off when he hired me r- initially and then, uh, you know, about six years later, we're sitting down for lunch and he says to me, you know, "What, what's it gonna take for you to stay?" And I gave him, you know, at the time I was not making what a GM should make and I told him, you know, "Honestly," you know, I gave him a number and he laughed at me and then he got very serious and he looked at me a- from across the table and he said, "You know what I think?" And I said, [laughs] "No, what do you think?" And he says, "I don't think you can do it." And I said, "Well, what can't I do?" And he says, "I don't think you could own a business and I don't think it would be successful." And that's the catalyst.

You tell me or anyone really that they can't do something and it's instant fuel.

Mm.

Right? It, it's not for everybody.

Well, yeah.

I'm a generous guy.

Typically, I think of myself as more generous to the people that are around me.

She's a generous person to everyone.

Okay, so that's kind of the difference between our core characters.

I do believe in helping those.

Like, an existing customer comes to me and says, you know, so-and-so was hurt.

How did you start diving into it and learning how to use it and put it to use for the business?
