10:28
[laughs]
10:29
Yeah, okay.
10:30
Okay.
10:31
W- w- well, let ...
10:33
It's interesting.
10:34
I mean, I've interviewed so many people on this topic, what should humans eat, right? And, and it does come down to those bare basics.
10:42
I think everyone can agree if we remove as much processed food from our diet, that's, that's a tick.

25 MINS LATER

36:05
Amazing.

Rated PG-13.
10:59
We have it all.
11:02
I've shot over the last year and a half over 1,200 recipes, all low carb, dairy free, grain free, legume free, basically the low carb movement.
11:13
And I haven't even scratched the surface yet.
11:17
So what's out? Well.
11:20
That's up to you.
11:21
But a good place to start is the foods that cause us the most issues at the moment, that then cause inflammation in the body.

14 MINS LATER

25:26
Rated PG-13.
4:28
Like, let's see what happens.
4:31
Yeah, I guess it depends on your perspective of who you are in this reality.
4:36
You know, what you just mentioned, some people do it, I guess, what you're describing in their own smaller way, not on a, I guess, a national platform or a global stage.
4:48
You know, some do it in their relationships.
4:51
Correct.
4:51
In their family dynamic.
4:53
What you're witnessing with me, what I'm understanding, that was in a very public way.

46 MINS LATER

51:06
Sorry, I just want to add feel.
36:02
We're just more aware of it.
36:04
Yeah, or the great stories out there, the Game of Thrones.
36:08
It's a great example.
36:10
Even the Senate in Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, all of that that George Lucas fed into the Star Wars series.
36:20
Yeah, it's a story as old as time.
36:24
And a lot of the science fiction books, it's a story that will persist.
36:29
It depends on what capacity.

19 MINS LATER

55:55
I was like, well, I'm right into that.
8:34
But I'd love to know is like, is there a moment in your journey where you stopped caring? Like, what other people thought of you? Like, did you transcend it? Uh,
8:48
I believe I have.
8:49
Yeah.
8:50
Was there a point? Uh, I, It was an intention.
8:56
So my intention was to get to a state of neutrality where I wouldn't be triggered by what anybody thought or said about me.
9:02
So everything in life, I believe when we set an intention to go down a path of remembering or rediscovering or confronting these insecurities that we can have, whether it is being seen or being heard or public speaking or being judged by others.
9:25
If we have the choice in which we confront that or we can dance with it or we can contemplate it or we can decide not to go down that path, like that's not my path, you know.

14 MINS LATER

23:53
Do you believe that too, that if people took the time to understand it, they would find something in it that they really like?
9:43
What are some of the transformations that you've seen with people that have been, how long are the retreats for? Are they normally a weekend?
9:49
Normally weekend, Friday to Sunday afternoon.
9:51
And yeah, the transformation, it's so fascinating to witness.
9:58
Our intention is always to nourish.
9:59
It's not to shatter people.
10:01
There's other retreats that perform.
10:04
Although fasting, I feel like it does bring up a lot.
10:07
Well, it can.
46:59
Is it that we're not being taught by grandma anymore? I mean, is it just not in our upbringing? What are the major hurdles when you consider what it's going to take to get people motivated into this space?
47:13
It can be a combination of those things that you just mentioned, for sure.
47:16
And a lot of the time it is convenience and it's lack of time or perceived lack of time.
47:23
Yeah.
47:23
So...
47:25
We can start with just learning the very, very basics.
47:29
How to poach an egg, how to scramble an egg, how to cook a piece of steak, how to roast a chicken, how to prepare some vegetables so they're not bland and boring.

26 MINS LATER

74:07
What is what gets you up at the five in the morning to like start
15:55
How did you get through that?
15:58
There's a, a few things.
16:00
First off, wonderful support from my wonderful wife, Nicola, and my children, Tilly and Indie, right? And, and my mum and, and my brother and sister.
16:13
I have a very, uh, supportive family, very loving.
16:16
Um, they trust me, and I trust them, and I love them unconditionally, and no doubt they love me unconditionally.
16:24
And I love myself unconditionally as well, you know.
16:28
Um, and I don't say that as an egotistical thing.

16 MINS LATER

32:57
Mm.
29:47
[laughs]
29:48
Right.
29:51
And the reason it's such a big question is because nearly everybody has their own belief or opinion about psychedelics, whether they've experienced it themselves or whether they've got secondhand information from somebody that they know that's experienced it, that has had a, uh, pretty rough time or a tragic time or a life-changing time in- into the positive.
30:18
So, like you said, you had your own reservations about it and, and for me, where do I sit? [laughs] I believe they can be very powerful tools for change.
30:37
Hmm.
30:38
Right? And I would never recommend them to anybodyBut that being said, for me, they've been one of the most powerful teachers in so many aspects of my life, right? And there are places all around the world where they have one-on-one or group ceremonies or clinics that you can go to that are medically supervised with doctors, nurses, therapists.
31:17
Obviously, you can go to the jungle and sit with a shamanic lineage of, of many, many ancestors or many, many, um, what would you call it? Generations of people that have studied this and worked with this in great detail.
31:34
It's part of their culture.
