I knew no one in the organization.

I thought it was a really cool hat.

So there I am at ECCO in Richmond.

Life Flight has a little recruitment booth, and I decide, like, let's see if they, A, have swag, or B, like, c- just tell 'em like, "Hey, local guy, really like the merch, really like your mission, really like what you're doing." So I went over there and had the conversation, and I met two field, uh, providers or, you know, frontline.

And one's like, "Well, why don't you, uh, why don't you apply?" I'm like, at this point, I am one of those oddities that I entered my critical care career exclusively in pediatric and neonatal transport.
