Like, where do the Packers stand going into this season? And again, I'm not trying to, like, tee up our, our topic or anything, but that's sort of what I've been, I've been, like, mulling this off-season, because there's not, like, one specific thing like last season that I can point to and be like, "That's the thing that's gonna put them over." Like, they've been great, ba, da, da.

They did this thing and, like, now I feel like they're really gonna be over the edge.

Uh, Perry, what are you thinking about, uh, that you're most excited about with training camp coming up?

Th- those feel like somewhere in the sweet spot, but it, it did feel like this could potentially press to the end of October against that, Carolina, potentially.

Um, so I'm gonna go with my [laughs] my number one I put down, which is Lucas Van Ness.

Um, because if Micah Parsons is gonna miss more time than we thought he is, um, which it sounds like he is, putting in at mid-October, um, Lucas Van Ness [laughs] is our primary pass rusher, which is interesting sauce.

Um, and I mean, you can take some reports, as Grant just mentioned, that he's showing some growth, beating up on Jordan Morgan.

Uh, Maggie and I were just talking about this, and I think the biggest thing this offseason for me was, like, for the first time in a while, I think Gutt and the front office were just very willing to, like, shed dead weight.

Like, if things are not working, they were just like, "We gotta move on very quickly." Um, I think this offseason was less about, we're always thinking, like, who'd they trade for, who'd they add, who'd they draft, and this season, this offseason was a lot about, like, they got rid of a lot of players.

And it was almost like subtraction meant addition.

At least that's how I view this team.

They did add players, they did, and I'm really excited to see how, how they make this team better.

But they got rid of a lot of guys.

I, I think, like, you don't want to go into the season with this cornerback group.

Like, it's obviously not good enough if you think the Packers are a championship caliber team.

Can they win games with this cornerback group? Yeah, we, we watched them do that, and they made, like, hopefully what is some level of an upgrade adding St.

Juste, although remains to be seen if that's minor versus major.
