Do you believe that with this announcement in Leighton, Denny's kind of been left out in the lurch?

Look, I understand it's a commercial decision by Sunrise and it's upgrading facilities that exist in Leighton.

It is unfortunate that we have shed those jobs in both Leighton and particularly Deniliquin and Leighton.

I do agree that this announcement does not help the Deniliquin Mill at all, but anything that helps the bottom line of Sunrise, hopefully, will help stabilise the business so that we don't see any more job losses.

I would dearly like to see enough rice production to boost, you know, to reinforce the need to continue to have our two healthy sunrise mills operating in the Riverina.

But we've also got a third mill in Girildry with the Natural Rice Company who produce nice rice as well.

And I want to see enough rice production to keep all three mills operational.

Without changes to water policy, do you believe that this rice cake facility will actually be viable?
