Could you share more with us what that process is like and about Jefferson's journal in particular?

He began when he was 23 years old and still living at his boyhood home called Shadwell, which is on the other side of the Rivanna River, a couple of miles from Monticello Mountain.

When the Garden Club of Virginia restored the gardens in 1940, '41, a book was published shortly thereafter by Edwin Betts and Hazelhurst Perkins.

Hazelhurst Perkins was, um, the, uh, was part of the Garden Club of Virginia, person who was helping to restore the gardens, and they combined to write a book, a, a small book on Thomas Jefferson's flower gardens.
