Um, could you tell us a little bit about how, how you, how the learning team came about?

So I joined the s- the library in 2009, and Learning Services, as it was called then, was established six months before that.

So the state librarian at that time was a woman called Regina Sutton, and she recognized that there was a big gap in the services that were provided here.

There wasn't anyone who was specifically looking after kids and families or students and teachers.

So that branch was formed, and Megan Perry led that branch when it was first established, and Megan is a very well-known, um, teacher librarian, very expert, and I came and joined her as the senior education officer six months after she started.
