But then after talking to John and understanding some of the neuroscience, we started with a zero ORPE program because my principal came to me and said, PE in the Naperville school system is required for all students all four years.

And so he said, we have some people who in their freshman year would like to take an elective, but they can't fit it in their schedule because of the requirement of PE.

So I have found when I do my work that what changes often, not always, but often what changes a school building and sometimes a district is it's just a dynamite motivated physical educator because they become the resource person in the building for all the teachers which i'm sure you have both experienced and what i what i tell phys ed teachers when i have them specifically as an audience is that physical education needs to be taught for physical education's sake i get that i'm on board but it's hard to ignore this natural byproduct of better cognition so i i guess my question to both of you doesn't matter who goes first is what would you tell a young physical physical educator like what would your piece of advice be to them as they begin their career and move forward
