The Only Selling Tactic You Need to Close Anyone in Minutes | #64
20:23

Damon CartHOST
Yeah, and so would you count pattern interrupt as one of the tools or was that the pattern interrupt was you didn't do what she expected you to do?
P

I'll give you just another example and then I'll get to sales, okay? A therapeutic example.
1 HR 3 MINS LATER
Will community policing make towns safer?
P
0:53Paul RossGUEST
Yeah, so I suppose we were part of a pilot with Waterford City and Dublin City Centre in, I think it was 2021, where we moved from, as you mentioned, the Joint Police and Commission project to this Longford Community Safety Partnership.
P
1:07Paul RossGUEST
I suppose the big, big difference, having sat on the previous JPC, as we called it, was the Joint Policing Commission was very reactive to crime that happened in the past, where we would come along every couple of months and get a breakdown on crime figures and data and gather figures And so it was really, as I say, a reactive journey to be a bit of shouting and a bit of giving out if something happened.
P
1:35Paul RossGUEST
I suppose the new community safety partnership is very much a proactive approach.
P
1:43Paul RossGUEST
As you mentioned yourself, there's community groups, there's resident associations, there's statutory agencies, as you mentioned too, so HSE and county councillors, and then of course, council staff, along with the Gardaí.
This Family Went All in on Roth Savings. Should You?
P
4:18Paul RossGUEST
Aside from the dollars not being taxable, Roths have other features that regular IRAs and regular 401ks don't have.
P
4:27Paul RossGUEST
One can always withdraw their contributions, you know, say in an emergency, and that can be done with no tax or penalty.
P
4:34Paul RossGUEST
Roths don't have any RMD requirements, so those investments can compound longer if we don't need them.
P
4:41Paul RossGUEST
And I don't think we'll be in a lower tax bracket later in life, and so there's really no reason to not go all in on Roths.
P
4:49Paul RossGUEST
I do believe that the old paradigm of retiring in a lower tax bracket really isn't applicable.
