What's behind the decision to come back?
14:36
Many decisions, Warwick.
14:39
So...
14:40
Over that time that I was in the role, you know, when I left that role, I actually really questioned whether I had things right at what was happening, particularly at the VFF.
14:55
So what I actually did, I actually did a course at Charles Sturt University around business management.
15:02
So that entertained myself for a while because I was questioning, did I get it right? Did I have it right? But, you know, over that period of time, I soon realised that I wasn't too far off the money and there was huge problems within the advocacy sector and particularly dairy.
15:22
I didn't want to leave dairy high and dry.

21:16
Not many people in the world of politics, in the world of lobbying, get a second chance, right? Do you feel like you deserve it?
7:28
Country Today's Jay Dickens spoke with Paul, first asking him what brought him back to the helm.
7:33
Well, there's many reasons that I'm looking to put my hand up again.
7:38
But number one, you know, it's so important that we get advocacy right, and particularly for the dairy industry.
7:45
If you look at some of the history that's gone on previously and specifically, To be frank, I was part of that problem.
7:54
But, you know, there's a whole lot of things that need fixing in the advocacy world.
7:59
We need a really strong membership so we can actually fight for the greater good and the outcomes that farmers need.
8:07
You know, a classic example is Victoria has 63% of the national milk pool And food and fiber here in Victoria make up something like $22 billion in exports.
