So, you know, do you think what we have today is as formal as the Culper Ring was back during the Revolutionary War? And if so, when do you think this started with us modern day?

Dude, I think it might be even more refined than it was during the Revolutionary War.

I think that we've probably got means well beyond what we can imagine as far as how we can use spies and infiltrate other networks.

And I think it's so hard to pinpoint a timeline when we may have said behind the scenes, all right, we need spies.

There's no other way we're going to get the information we need.

I kind of go back to that Kennedy time period, maybe Eisenhower before him.

I have my own feelings on Eisenhower, but ultimately I feel like he tried to do the right thing and right the ship, despite what he may have been involved in beforehand.
