Paul DiasparraGUEST
Well, content creation is a product of, I guess, my passion and just overall time spent into officiating.

Paul DiasparraGUEST
Had to learn all about that craft first before I can start going and teaching others.

Paul DiasparraGUEST
So when I got into reffing and my mom worked for athletic director, and so she was part of the referee kind of culture and recommended that to me.

Paul DiasparraGUEST
So it worked out well, but never thought i would get into building a community and and trying to make instructional type videos for that so that happened just through my interest in getting better and trying to be as good as I could and exhibit as many skills as I could and try to work up to the highest level that I could and trying to meet the best officials that could inspire me and teach me and guide me.

Paul DiasparraGUEST
So after about five or six years of going through that and trying to get up the NCAA men's college basketball landscape, I had grown passionate about teaching and mentoring.

So what keeps you making content now versus when you started? Like, has the reason changed at all?

Paul DiasparraGUEST
Well, I'll start with accountability, just with referees, you know, instead of me pointing the finger at coaches first, which I love to do,

Paul DiasparraGUEST
It's got to start with refs and just better training we need, right? And we need officials that are in better shape.

Paul DiasparraGUEST
If you're speaking in the AAU scene, the travel ball, the youth, You know, it's a different way they assign games.

So how does a referee, and how do you teach it through crown refs and everything when you're training these officials, how should a preparation look as they prepare to continue to get better throughout the season?
