Can you share examples of hardware now used aboard Orion?
2:58
We had a couple items.
2:59
Two of the most prominent ones are early on, we actually had a detailed test objective payload type experiment that we flew to ISS that was related to what we call phase change material.

Essentially, it's a thermal system that uses a wax material that you melt to absorb heat in a thermal system, and then the wax can be frozen again, and that allows you to essentially have some supplemental heat rejection and absorption capability within the system.
3:33
One of the things we didn't know at the time was exactly how the pressures and that build up in that wax as it freezes and thaws.
3:41
You can imagine with water, obviously, everybody knows you put water in a bottle and freeze it.
3:46
You can start blowing up bottles and breaking them.
6:16
For Orion, are they any different?

So is that gonna be your focus on the first day, is tying those kinda two styles?
22:22
Yes, it is.
22:23
I'm gonna think I'll do the chironomids and the leeches first.
22:26
Uh, I tie a, a chironomid that's a...
22:29
I've seen it before from people up in Canada, but it's...
22:33
Again, I've modified it a little bit, but it uses an, an anti-static bag material, ABS they call it, for a base, and then it'll be ribbed with a, a brown or a wine colored wire.
22:47
And then, uh, it uses a brown bead because most of chironomids have a brown head.

So like fishing, like if you wanted to fish Henry's Lake, you would do a session on here's what it's gonna, what it's gonna be like.
